"Air Force One's baby blue color scheme is so last election. Instead, picture a star-spangled Boeing jet transporting the commander in chief through the sky for years to come….."

I don't think Red,white&blue is going to be bad. IIRC, the Mexican presidential airplane was the colors of the Mexican flag.

The concept pic the staffer came up with, however… :puke:

Understated elegance is always better than loud and flashy in my opinion. The current scheme is subtle and displays confidence. Don't change it.

The current light blue was Jackie-O's choice. Change it to something a bit less panty waisted. Say a dark blue where the light blue is now with a red divider strip between the dark blue & white.

Light blue is a very weak and recessive color. The USA isn't weak nor recessive. Go Bold or don't bother.

I disagree about going bold. I've had the opportunity to see Air Force 1 land in foreign countries and see the reaction of those who see it. True strength does not need ostentatious displays of power, it is telegraphed far better by quiet confidence. Bluster and flash are cover for inner weakness and lack of confidence. Leave bold and brash to tin pot dictators or weak narcissistic frauds.

As TR said, speak softly but carry a big stick.

Current paint job is fine. With all the problems in the world I don't give a crap about an airplane paint job.
