I am looking for downed pilots in flightsuit, with or without life vest. They could be any allied navy or ground based air |

Well in 1/48 there is a Hasegawa set. But it has just one Brit and US airmen. The other 4 are German and Japanese. Even worse is the set runs for $14 USD on average. For this I would recommend(if you have a lot of time to kill) to look for 1/48 model lots of planes. Those sell cheap and get a crashed plane out of it but you could find a heap of pilots. I know as I had this for a downed B17. The pilot and crew torsos were used and then I used other legs and just added pockets and bulk to the legs. There was nothing out there I could find at the time. Was a long time ago. Scenarios was Soviets and Germans came upon the crash from one of the last raids on Berlin. One guy played the crew. Little did her know that neither side cared if they lived. Germans were out for retribution. Russians could care less. But the crew did have tons of 30 cals to clean up. Certainly not very helpful but was nice to share this time from my hobby past. Also 1/48 scale bombers when used as a crash have a huge footprint on a 4x8 table. JH |

In what scale? For 28mm I might go with these slightly anachronistic minis, using the bare headed ones, and/or headswaps for period flight helmets: link |
