Finally added the extra shelves to the painting desk so I now have all my paint in reach, instead of boxes and other surfaces.

That's nice, are the shelves angle iron?

Great set up. I sometimes wonder if I collect figures or paint.

WarWizard11 Jul 2018 7:39 a.m. PST

Excellent.

And I thought I was over doing it when I went out and bought seven different browns to do the FF foot and mounted Mongols.

It's just two sheets of plywood with plastic L-frames cut to size, glued and screwed into position.

Excellent idea, and simple to make! Thanks for sharing!

My local hobby shop doesn't stock that much paint!!!

Very, very nice. I might add a coffee pot within arms reach but, nothing more that I can see!

I had a similar set up. Very convenient and makes organizing your colors a snap, although I sorted by color, not by brand.

With the move in to the condo I use a cart that I can easily roll in/out when I need it. Keeps things very handy too. I have one of these but with all gray drawers:

Well I keep a stash of AK and Mig paint sets in the hobby cupboard as well as all the spare Vallejo, the Oils, the Metallics, weathering powders, the acryllic tubes and the craft paints in separate boxes …

This is way better than those bulk paint organizers that have a footprint often twice that of the paints themselves.

I also cloud them by color instead of brand.

I could never have a setup like that, too many earthquakes that would have the paint all over the desk and floor.

DOUGKL13 Jul 2018 7:33 p.m. PST

Nice job.

Good setup for your working paint jars. And you keep your back stock where?
