Does anyone make ships suitable for the Chinese Navy 1883-1886?

Navwar do a Foo Chow set in 1/3000, so if you have the French you´re good to go. And if you have the French, please tell me where you got them!

For 1/2400 scale I've used the ships from Panzerschiffe Miniatures. Check in the Span-Am/Russo-Japanese/Sino-Japanese War section. They are listed under "Other Countries".

Old Glory makes some in 1/600 and I filled in most of the Chinese myself.

Besides the ones mentioned above, Wartimes Journal does 3D "Rapid Prototype Plastic" Chinese pre-dreadnought ships.

You can get them in 1:1500, 1:1800, 1:2400, or 1:3000 scale.

I've ordered several British and Russian 1:2400 pre-dreadnoughts from them and have been highly satisfied with them.

I must note that I have both the Russian and Japanese 1904-1905 fleets in 1:2400 scale from Panzerschiffe. As Pogany stated, they do make the Chinese ships [ link ].

I have the Chen Yuen as part of my Japanese fleet as she was captured during the Sino-Japanese War and added to the Japanese fleet. link But the model is from Viking Forge and is the only Chinese ship they make.

If you can find a dozen people who want French and Chinese ships in 1/1200 scale for the Franco Sino war then Spithead miniatures will make them for you.

Wartimes Journal also accepts recommendations for new ship models.
