Sure.. I use vegetable oil so the green stuff won't stick to the stamp.. after it dries, it's no problem. I've painted over once the milliput or green stuff hardens and the oil evaporates, before.

If in doubt, vegetable oil finds its way onto a lot of your cooking implements. Dishwashing detergent makes it go away. It also can ease your mind about mold release agents on minis or models.
