It looks like most of their stuff was made specifically for use with 28mm figures.

However, has anyone here found any 15mm applications for these "spackle" clay molds?

Dan
PS. Hmm. I wonder if you could texture them before they dry, perhaps lightly stippling them with a stencil brush or even a wire brush?

I'd put a textured surface under the mold before pouring the plaster/stuff…

Good idea!

What's the plan Dan?

Now that I have sometime to think about this, I may have some ideas on this, so your going to have to keep us updated on your findings.

I'm really liking that curved hexagon design for wall carvings instead of flooring.

Perhaps inverted, with the two corners on the top instead of the bottom.

I was liking the brick and flagstone pavers, I was thing that one could make a master mold using those, then just recast as one would need to.

I was thinking, I may try an small experiment this weekend, I want to try making some masters of flag stone floors, and make silicon molds so I can cast as many as I want, much like those one would get from Hirst Art but more reasonable for 15mm scale.

Were you able to do that experiment? If so, how did it turn out?

I did a small piece, but I haven't had much time to myself to finish, I'm thinking of a different approach to this just but everything is just going to have to wait till I some time to myself.
