A quick tutorial on making sci fi buildings from common, freely available household junk – fun and quick build!

That's great! I followed additional links on your blog and really like Fellowes Peak. Always fun and interesting to read your posts and blog.

Thanks. That's really nice work. I love doing the same kind of stuff. As a result, I have a few too many plastic containers in my storage unit!

I have done the same for some huge 3 and 6mm buildings. Some plastic carryout food containers make great arena type buildings for 3mm. I also used to have a domed Stadium made from a cut up fruit container from the grocery store. Unfortunately, I sat on it when cleaning up one day.

Nice work! I just tossed two laundry detergent bottles into my laundry room trash can last night and was thinking I should keep the caps. Guess I'll be pulling them out later when I get home today.
Keep up the inspirational work!

Thanks guys! Used some similar ideas to make buildings for Epic too, those containers are terrific bases to construct and convert :-)

My ex-wife learned to be wary of the times I would stand frozen over the waste bin with a piece of unique trash in my hand and a faraway look in my eye…

SWMBO asks me if I want a vacuum form container for terrain before she throws it in the trash or the recycling.

I have an empty mouthwash bottle that's been sat on top of my bathroom cupboard waiting to be turned into a sci fi freighter for almost two years 😂😂

Love it! Thanks!
