Guys,
I just got a new camera, and can finally take some decent close-up photos. This one shows some Eureka ragged rebel figs and a few Perry's mixed in -

Nice work.
Every Patriot army needs a large contingent of Raggeds.

As far as I know, 3 manufacturers make "Ragged Continentals".
Eureka, of course. They are the most ragged.
Kings Mountain Continental figures are not quite as ragged. They have just been in the field a while, and their clothes are worn and patched. A bonus here is that you get a very wide variety of heads for them. This makes them ideal for hard bitten Loyalist troops. I imagine that Loyalist troops would not be as ragged as some Continental units, but I may be wrong. In any event, both ranges are fun to do, convert and paint.

Dixon makes very nice "Valley Forge" Continentals. They aren't quite as ragged, but do show wear. They are of course "true 25mm", but that never bothered me mixing them with the above. They're in full Continental uniform, ragged and patched.

Of course, don't forget the Eureka Marbleheaders, for troops in fisherman and sailor garb. THOSE guys are great for "deserter description" troops.
