The most notable change in this final version is in the way that battle line troops are deployed. This change was made to handle situations where an army may have too many or too few battle line troops. This version also includes numerous minor changes, clarifications, improved wording, and additional diagrams. A full list of changes will be posted on the WGC Forum ( forum.wgcwar.com ) .

The PDF version is printer friendly and contains diagrams and text which are easy on the home printer. A hardcopy version is in the works which will have some additional eye candy.
I would encourage anyone interested in Ancient or Medieval gaming to take a look at these rules. I have played a lot of different rule systems in the past and these are by far some of the cleanest and easiest to learn and teach while giving a truly enjoyable game with reasonable results.
Very scalable from a small battle to huge scenarios and perfectly suited to friendly games, tournaments or campaigns.
Oh, and the Fantasy rules are also in playtest now : )
