I'm looking for titles related to near-future projections and predictions regarding the development of warfare. Any recommendations? Either non-fiction or fiction is fine. Thanks. |

Don't let the title mislead you: Brassey's Encyclopedia of Land Forces and Warfare (ISBN: 1-57488-250-3 ) This rather thick tome addresses technology, tactics and evolving doctrines that address most aspects of modern warfare. It also serves as a great primer for those who want to get updated after being stuck into WWII wargaming for years. A really great read for anyone who seeks knowledge of current and future military operations. Beware, modern conflicts actively rely upon many aspects of non-direct combat support forces. Not for those who merely desire to do tank to tank matchups. It's more for those seeking knowledge of how conflicts are and will be fought, how and why. Hope this helps. v/r Tom |
