….Reported UFO Sightings on the Decline?

"Reported UFO sightings have been declining in the United States for the last few years, according to the statistician tasked with making sense of all the data acquired by the leading civilian UFO investigation group.

The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is a non-profit that investigates reports of UFO sightings. The group encourages people who have close encounters to report their sightings on the MUFON site. The organization claims it receives about 7,000 reports per month—but numbers have been on a steady decline since around 2012.

"There definitely has been a fall off of late," MUFON statistician David C. Korts told Gizmodo. "It hasn't been a straight line. But in looking at those numbers, it was a peak in 2012 and it's been a 30 to 40 percent drop from 2012 to 2017."…"

It makes perfect sense. Observation of a phenomenon can change the phenomenon, as any parent knows.

Thus the closer we watch the skies, the more careful the UFOs are to avoid being seen, e.g., by reducing the frequency of their visits or by improving their stealth technologies.

The main recon is done, now they're just building up for the invasion…

They simply gave up on us?

Yes, the more you look … the more you will "find" … grin Or not ?

But I heard in the media some scientists at Oxford, IIRC, declared there are no other intelligent lifeforms, i.e aliens in the Universe. And gave the usual reasons why and maybe a few new ones(?).

So it seems our concerns are unfounded, we have nothing to worry about from ETs, NTIs, Xenos, etc., etc. …

So sleep tight tonight. wink

Or it proves that the Men in Black have successfully infiltrated MUFON. Presumably you'd bin the real UFO sightings and make careful record of the cranks.

Seriously, you don't really know why there are fewer reports during a period of heightened interplanetary travel? Look around you, MUFON. Few bother to look up at the heavens any longer. Everyone is constantly looking down.

At their device.

Aliens have their devices, too.

Aliens finally concluded their dual research programs on cattle surgery and anal probes?

Their tourism boom busted. Due to a down turn in the galactic economy, they can't afford to travel the universe sight seeing as much as they used to.

AETTO (Aliens for Ethical Treatment of Terrestrial Organisms) managed, finally, to shut down the cattle mutilation vacations that were all the rage among the Grays for many years.

I don't think they've had as much success with the always popular anal probe specials.

Oberlindes

So the Greys were going on cattle safaris? That's sad. Where's the sport in that?

Yeah ! And they don't even have a BBQ afterwards !

Cacique Caribe:

Sportsmanship is a human concept. The Grays really don't understand it.

Cacique Caribe07 Jul 2018 5:03 a.m. PST

The Predators seem to understand the concept. Maybe we can team up and teach it to the Greys? :)
