Yes, thanks for the notice. Now that I know it's on the calendar, my mind will be wandering off at random times for weeks and months to come, running through all the possibilities for new games to put on. Is it too early to start planning my events for next year? *sigh* Probably not. |

Now that I know it's on the calendar, my mind will be wandering off at random times for weeks and months to come, running through all the possibilities for new games to put on. Is it too early to start planning my events for next year? Battle of the Saintes seems the next logical action. Not to much more work (well only another 25 ships of the line). |

The Battle of Saint Kitts came first, and is just a smidge smaller (22 vs. 29, plus frigates and auxiliaries). It was one of Hood's most brilliant actions, despite his ultimate failure. I've always wanted to play this as some sort of short campaign. It was an interestingly see-saw micro-campaign that the French won. I'd also like an excuse to build and use the "Gibralter of the West", the fort on Brimstone Hill. :-) - Ix |

Couldn't make it last year (2018) but certainly planning on it this coming year. |
