We tried out Lion Rampant for use in the Dark Ages. The game was great but I think it needs a tweak or two. link

Anton, There is a forum for Lion Rampant run by the rules author. That may already have some tweaks for Dark Ages gaming. link Jim |

ColCampbell, Thanks I will take a look. It may just be a rating problem. Late Roman cavalry were good but calling them Mounted Knights might be a bit generous. Poor tactics and horrid dice-rolling were the main cause of my defeat so I will play more games before changing the rules. |

Lion Rampant works great for Dark Ages as is. The author produced a summary of Dark Ages units called Landwasters And Ravenfeeders, but I'm not sure where to find it. It really just renames units, but has a few minor tweaks. |
