I have made a slow start to my Berlin Project which I talked about on an earlier thread. TMP link

In addition to this I have started to paint up a Command Group and a HMG Squad.

Too much talk about the project here and the buildings I intend using.

Of course there is no E in Borgward. The second link is supposed to be a picture?

Interesting project. I hope you post more. I really like that little vehicle, the Wanze. I'd never heard of it before. You did a great job on it. thumbs up

Now this is right up my alley. Hope you have moment to respond to the few questions I pose.

Thank you for sharing how you feel it sized up for what it should be and for 28mm. I use 1/48 armor and many trucks are cheap russian makes in 1/43.

To my project I looked to use a few. Seeing only 50 some odd of these were used in this configuration I looked to model with and without the multi-launcher – you feel this could be magnetized easily??

For troops- HJ and Volksturm I would like to add that there is a company called offensive miniatures that have a Fall of the Reich range. These were new in January and March this year. So if you did not already know of them then I would recommend them. There is a chap on bicycle!!

For the DUST buildings. This is so after my own Heart. I also bought some of these. No complete building but enough for a few faces to some street and rest to ruins. I abandoned this idea. I play my battles for Berlin a little earlier. Jan to March 45 at Kustrin. Not so many huge buildings. An I still get Panter turm! If you would like those dust buildings let me know- they are literally gathering dust-ha!

Also, burkhardt's blog has his huge Berlin project to give you some ideas. He is a master of this art.

It is late but if interested I will check back in the morning and get some links for you.

Just share what I have learned- and consider the camo on you BW stolen.

You have already been to dhc- burkhardt's blog.

Offensiveminiatures.com- in the range box select defenders of the Reich.

I look forward to following your progress. My progress is slow.

I just have the first HJ team and Volksturm squad on the table.

I use CoC and love it. So easy and great I taught my 6 year old daughter to play. After 3 learning games she is doing really well. This game has helped her learn basic addition.
