I'm painting my swedes in a rather dark blue (same I use for my Napoleonic French, union, SYW prussians etc)

This is really to dark, to add to the problem the colour I used for highlighting this blue is empty. And the colour has changed a lot from the manufacturer. So I have to change the colour anyway.
But will it look to odd if half my swedes are dark blue, while the other is more a medium/half dark? It's quite a big difference. More then you might excuse with (different dyes)

For sure! Don't forget, dye technology was not uniform back then – in fact, the Russians dyed their uniforms by company so there were often different shades of green in the same regiment

Worn uniform do not maintain the same color of new ones and may be inside the same unit the shade may differs. In any case consider that gray can be widely used for the swedes, so till you do not buy a new can…….

Yeah I've seen they are quite dark, so are the reenactment uniforms to. But most illustrations always show them lighter.

Yeah, VERY dark blue for Swedes and Frenchies and their ilk!
