Disrespecting TMP appears to be a crime worthy of being sent to the Dawghaus. So what constitutes Disrespecting TMP? Is Disrespecting Our Dear Leader also count as Disrespecting TMP? A sort of "La France c'est moi" attitude. |

can't say, as there is no link to the offending post[s]. That would at least provide a clue. |

One of the things I've learned over the years is that if you don't demand respect, then people get the mistaken notion they can walk all over you. The same principle applies to a business (TMP). While we welcome criticism, there comes a point where a line is crossed and we cannot allow our own forums to be used to 'bash' TMP. In the recent case, an individual attacked TMP for posting news about our former staff member, and made disrespectful comments that were entirely unwarranted and out of place. |

There's a reason I chose this nom de TMP for my cell phone persona. It's pretty obvious I should think. Basically I would rather contribute to the American Revolution Board than score cheap debating points. Zip it, Louie. (Note. I hope that telling myself to "Shut up!" doesn't violate the FAQ.) |

I myself have been very low key for several months and I was going to keep quiet, BUT… 1) Dear Editor seems to have learned his lesson regarding starting fires in his own home over the past several months…perhaps even a year (more or less, shrug). So for that I must congratulate him! 2) I honestly do not care one way or another about the editor with the breast transplants. She works here, I have had never had an encounter with her, good or ill and she seems to have Dear Leader's confidence. 3) She is a Human being…end of that argument. 4) The "personage" who was DH'd has been on my stifle list for years now but I can always read the veiled…I'll be diplomatic…criticism of others who are not quite up to his Superior standards from the comments of others on his daily postings, which, often enough, are pretty much in step with his "viewpoint" of the day. There is a lot of Hate out there and I guess this time, a step too far was taken and I'm glad it was handled the way it was. Maybe a new dawn for TMP and halfway decent people??? |

I like to give respect as the default, but you earn the continuation of my respect. I have no opinion on the current matter. To each their own. Bygones. |

Have no problem with punishment if one is disrespectful to the Captain or the ship. |

Oh was that what the dawghausing was about? Personally I didn't want to get involved in what I expected to turn into another crapfest, so I simply closed the topic and moved on with my day….thankfully it looks like its being handled professionally. |

Some people seem to have problems with basic courtesy and respect. A topic announcing to Editor Julia's friends that she had accomplished an important life goal is not an invitation to debate Julia's life choices or your opinions about them, or to make derogatory and disrespectful comments. Nor is it appropriate to accuse TMP on our own forum of ulterior motives or hidden agendas or 'tin foil hat' conspiracies when we are simply celebrating our former colleague's success. |

+2 Andrew Preziosi. Better said than I. I only had my rebuttal to him, removed. I thank the Editor for not sticking me in the DH with him. |

Rebuttals get removed if the post they were rebutting gets removed; otherwise, the discussion becomes nonsensical. |
