The Gondola will be up and running at Historicon so no need to worry about the rain. Just wanted to let you know.

Gondolas are only the beginning, Rangers. Does HMGS have enough volunteer gondoliers for peak hours? Can they sing suitable military ditties? And have they completed the locks they'll need to move gondolas to and from the Vendors Hall? Actually, what we really need are batteau men.

And you, of course, can get to the Vendors Hall using the slide for life, returning by climbing a rope.

Gondolas?!? Gondolas?!? Hey, wait a minute. I thought we voted and agreed on Amish buggy rides to and from. Besides, we were promised free Lapp dances for all riders.

Thought Lapp's had closed…

ViscountEric25 Jun 2018 7:34 a.m. PST

That's why all the employees need to dance now.

Ed, not only is Lapp's closed, they've built a motel extension over the old location. The least HMGS could do is put up some sort of memorial plaque, but not yet.

Zone, Viscount, have a little decency! If you want sexual hi-jinks in a horse-drawn vehicle, get something more enclosed and larger--and a much longer trip. Otherwise, find some place dark and private. Looks as though the flea market should do nicely.

"Otherwise, find some place dark and private."

What, you mean like the Flea Market room?

robert piepenbrink Supporting Member of TMP25 Jun 2018 6:21 p.m. PST

That's what I said, zone. Dark as you please, and nearing the end of Midnight Madness, probably more private than most of the rooms.

I think I'd better bring more painted castings this year. I can hardly expect the customers to look through the reading material.

do you mean the water-borne vehicle, or the aerial transport lift on a cable?

I just want some elevators that are discoverable, and in operation.

What happened to the plans of lobbing shopped-out Vendors' Area Shoppers back into the Host using trebuchets?

Dynaman878926 Jun 2018 9:35 a.m. PST

Couldn't make them powerful enough.

dapeters26 Jun 2018 9:35 a.m. PST

it's Midnight Madness 24/7 in that room
