Just bought a 2016 reprint of Lowell's 1884 The Hessians and the Other German Auxiliaries of Great Britain in the Revolutionary War for my Kindle Fire. It is only $0.99 USD (plus any tax).

Thanks for the info. I picked up a copy.

The title sounded familiar. Checking my personal library, I found an original (1884) copy that I bought as a DISCARD from the Littleton, MA public library, probably in the mid-seventies. The price penciled inside the cover was $4.50 USD. It was an excellent book and now I am inspired to re-read it.
