On a scale of 0 (none) to 10 (maximum), what would be your level of interest in a set of wargaming rules which focused on battles involving dragons or dragon riders? |

Depends. 7 If based on Elric and it's the ancient Melniboneans burninating their way across the old world, 9. Same goes for ASoIaF setting, since that was just a bald-faced ripoff of the Melnibonean conquest anyway. |

You don't have a negative number available? Settle for "0" then. |

I would like a post-apocalyptic game inspired by Reign of Fire. |

I think a Wings of War type dragon game would look pretty neat. I don't know that I'd buy stuff to play it but it would certainly be neat. I'd say that my level is exactly the same as darthfozzywig and for the same reasons. |

I think a Wings of War type dragon game would look pretty neat. And imagine if you could mix-and-match riders and dragons. |

10 if based upon the Temeraire series of books. |

I'm pretty sure one can get loads of Mage Knight Hero Clix dragons on the cheap if one wanted to play such a game. Now, Melniboneans on dragons would be good, as would a tabletop game based on the old Joust video game. 6/10 range either way. |

3 – I probably wouldn't like it with dragons as the focus. I would play, but not often if dragons were required to really get the feel of the game. I would rather (and have) play dragon focused scenarios with our existing rules, or add dragons to a game (as I did in the beer'n'pretzels Dirigibles of Doom!). I think a Wings of War type dragon game would look pretty neat. Get some cheap plastic 3" dragons from the dollar store and a Dremel with a drill bit that matches the WoW holes. I've done that, too. But we played it with the Galdiator Wrecks demolition derby card mechanic. |

Wings of War type dragon game… Didn't they put out a X-Wing based Dragon game? I love playing games of Dragon Hordes. Sadly they never released minis for it, but the counters are fun too. |

Also the D&D Attack Wing game had the ability to swap out riders, though they were not modelled at all on the dragons. |

I already have the Dragonlance boardgame from TSR. Alas, I've yet to play it. I did glue the "checker" risers into stacks to help prevent the infamous "topple" moments. As for the question, I never did pick up D&D Attack Wing, so less than I would have thought, apparently. But I did read descriptions that implied the game had less of an emphasis on aerial dragon combat, and required ground troops. Plus, I'm not impressed with WizKids products. So… Pure aerial dragon combat (with or without riders): 8 Tremeraire: 9 If done by WizKids:2 |

The D&D Dragon Wing game was pretty good – XWing for Dragons. Also had a decent ground combat addition. Strongly recommended. Not sure what its commercial status is. We have lots of Dragons in the Fire and Ice Expansion of Knights & Knaves as you might imagene but it does not focus on Dragon v. Dragon battles as its an army level game. TomT |

I recall battles between dragons from my WHFB years…typically the riders were trying to wound their opponents' dragons, hoping that they will fail their leaderhips roll ;) |

8, maybe? I have found a set of rules for free which focusses entirely on aerial combat, though it allows for all manner of mounts, ranging from dragons through giant sea critters and insects to early flying machines and magical constructs. I would like to see more fantasy airborne minis. What scale would be best, though? |
