Years ago, I remember an absolutely HUGE range of figures depicting an Italian soccer game set in Renaissance…. Milan? It had all the players, of both sides, crowd figures, entertainers, soldiers, etc. I was never all that interested in it, but I was curious. Who made it? Were the figures any good? Did anyone here ever buy any or paint them up? |

I'm pretty sure they were made by an Italian company that also produced standard wargaming figures. I think they made Etruscan figures, a Gendarmes "kit" with many parts to mix and match, etc. |

Are you just trying to rub in the fact that Italy didn't make it to the World Cup? Oops, that's right, the USA didn't make it either. |

No. I'm not. I'm indifferent to soccer. However, the referee uniform is quite interesting. Although news of the World Cup did spark memories of that range. Today, it would be a perfect example of a failed Kickstarter campaign. |
