The Schenectady Wargarmers Association is pleased to announce Council of Five Nations 2018, our 41st annual three-day gaming convention. This year's convention is being held Friday, October 5, 2018 through, Sunday October 7, 2018 at Proctor's in Schenectady, New York. We are now accepting events for our pre-reg booklet for Council 2018. Submit an event by Sunday, July 22, 2018, and you'll get free admission to the entire convention. Submit two or more events by the deadline, and you'll also receive a free Council of Five Nations 2018 T-shirt! To submit your event(s), go to link for our online GM registration form. FYI, Council is a smaller, very well run gaming convention near Albany in upstate NY. Plenty of events from which to choose, including boardgames, RPGs and miniatures, both historical and SciFi/Fantasy. Periods covered over the past few years include Ancients, ECW, FIW, AWI, ACW, Colonials, WWI, WWII and Modern. Hope to see you there. |

You can find the PDF of the prereg booklet at link The online preregistration form can be found at link For those who don't like sending payment through the internet, we have the option of registering online and mailing us a check. Council of Five Nations 41 is being held Friday October 5 through Sunday October 7 at Proctor's in Schenectady. Pre-reg will close at midnight on Saturday, September 29. Another fun Council of Five Nations convention this past weekend. 47Ronin was especially pleased to see the 47 Ronin game there on Saturday. (No, I didn't run it.) It looked great. If you have seen the movie "Ronin", the game looked just like the diorama in the film. If anyone has photos from the convention, please feel free to share them here. |
