I thought I would use the great resource to solicit views. Am looking to build an adlg Order of St John army. Based on Seige of Rhodes (1480-1522) (could also stretch to Malta?) Am after 15mm figues for mounted and foot knights, and local (Greek) spears and Crossbowmen. Usual suspects to be pressed into service are essex, dnonington, mirliton.. but has anyone got and favourites or can suggest ideal figures with armour and stylings etc. Much appreciated Paul |

Some of the Museum Miniatures figures are very good. They do a nice crossbowman with a kettle helmet. |

Miniature Figurines 15mm Renaissance > Early 16th Century have codes that claim to be Knights of St John and Maltese Crossbowmen – link They look too late for Rhodes. |

Am looking to build an adlg Order of St John army. Based on Seige of Rhodes (1480-1522) (could also stretch to Malta?) Probably not. Early 16th century military dress and armor styles were rather different than mid to late 16th century (The Siege of Malta took place in 1565). |
