How do you depict "shattered forest" on the tabletop?

I'm interested in a D20 with an "R" instead of a "20". The other thing I'd like to find is dice for the old AD&D Battlesystem second edition.

Does anyone make custom dice at reasonable prices?

You can always fill it in with milliput and then paint or burn in the R. Paint over the die and seal with varnish

Battlesystem just used standard polyhedral dice. You don't need custom dice, unless you have your own reason for using custom dice.

No. Dice are injection molded. Injection molds are etched into tool steel. That's expensive. If it's not going to sell at least a couple thousand, nobody's going to do it.

If it's only one face being replaced why do you need to bother ?

If 20 = R, and 1-19 equals 1-19 is there any confusion or computation needed for the players.

I have seen custom d20 with a skull on them but they were massed produced. Due to the cost as mentioned earlier.
I have seen blank d20, this would allow you to put whatever you wanted on them.

Here you go. If your doing a small quantity, you will probably want to opt for laser engraving rather than injection molding. The molds are quite expensive.
