There were some interesting lots in that auction; I was after the Austro-Hungarian officer's shako but got beat out.

Heritage has a great reputation and their prices realized bear it out, but jeepers some of that stuff went for (IMHO) crazy money!

Custer was not scalped.His hair was actually cut short at the LBH. I was curious how they confirmed the identity too.
