A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…

Back in the 1980s or even earlier, Panzerfaust magazine has an AWI campaign board game based on the Southern campaigns.
It was one where you had to glue maps to cardboard, glue counter sheet to cardboard before cutting them out, etc. Definitely pre die cut counters.
I put it all together, with rubber cement.
Then, in a frenzy of clearing out my basement, I sold it on eBay for a surprising amount.

Now, of course, I regret selling it, and would love to have it now to run a miniatures campaign. I seem to have enough figures. I'm inspired by Der Alte Fritz's solo campaign he showed here.
Can anyone give me a clue what issue that may have been, so I can waste time trolling Boardgamegeek and so on to get a copy I might never use? grin

It must have been closer to 1975-- I can remember cutting and pasting all the bits and playing a few games in college with a Revolutionary War aficionado. Gave it away decades ago.

Da Force of Da Bug is powerful today.
The OFM will try again tomorrow. Maybe it will show up on the front page….

"Spirit of '76" was the game. Military Books lists 1 available for $25. USD
