Here's the final results of the terrain I made for Star Wars: Legion tables. I used my existing 2 x 4 modular boards from my usual fantasy and historical games.

The terrain is really pretty basic. The trees are a combination of GW's Citadel woods, plastic bonzai trees from Ocean State Job Lot which I repainted and rebased, and some taller pine trees made from wooden dowels and rubberized horse hair covered in flock.

The crates are 3D-printed as well as the moisture vapirators and bridge which are 3D-printed. The Endor-style bunker is also 3D-printed. I got the printed stuff from two companies, Printerrain and Imperial Terrain. The moisture vapirators are a good element because they are generic enough to represent anything really. They could be power generators, communications towers, etc.

The barricades are from the Star Wars: Legion core boxed set itself.

I wanted to try to create terrain generic enough that it could be used for many games. All of this setup could be used for 40k and other sci-fi perfectly well. I think that visually the table could use more trees, but then again you have to balance the terrain with playability. This has about the right amount of LOS blocking elements and scenic elements to work for a skirmish game of this size.

It works pretty well to represent a battle like Endor or Scarif.

Let me know what you think!

Spectacular. And that arrangement should make some good scenarios. I may steal some ideas.

We're all meeting at your house from now on. I'm bringing cookies.

Very nice table!

In my role as resident nitpicker:
"Banzai!" is the charge. "Bonsai" is the little tree. Perhaps "bonzai" trees would be a skirmish involving young Ents, or something in Birnam Wood from MacBeth? (There is a Lee Killough SF novel in which a motorist is running down pedestrians with her Japanese econobox. The police call her the Banzai Bonsai.)

Yes, he's correctly stating it's "bonsai". Either way, very nice terrain, one that can be used for various games.
