Here is the first actual squad of Emperor's Children that I've finished to go along with their Primus Medicae. It is a sort of rag-tag bunch of terminators armed with weapons from the fallen.

They have a disproportionate amount of plasma and vulkite weapons to deal with enemy infantry in anticipated tunnel fighting. It will probably come in handy in the close quarters of the ruined Choral city.

They also have a variety of close combat upgrades including this guy with lightning claws.

If I ever expand this force into a whole army (I suppose that should be when) I will probably divide these guys among two squads, one more close combat dedicated.

For now I think they give the appearance of an amalgamated squad that picked up what weapons they could find from the dead and are looking to sell their lives dearly.

Since they are twice the size of a 'normal' man, how do they fit in the tunnels?

Nice paint job, by the way. I dig the color scheme and gold trim.

I think most imperial Crusade-era building was done with Astartes in mind.

If not they have a chain fist. They can make their own tunnels.

Although if I were going to rebel against the Imperium I would certainly construct defensive tunnels that were only just bigger than a man.

Never mind …

Yeah, right now they are going to be the bodyguard for the commander of the force, who is a primus medicae. I'm not sure if they will ultimately have that role or not. I guess it depends on if I can get enough other stuff done for them.

They are from the Prospero box. I'm glad you guys liked them. Hopefully they are the first of many.
