My Dad was a navy vet. I went to college on my own money then spent 6 years working as a subcontractor for the navy all over the place. Amused my Dad to no end.

No,but my dad,his big bro,one of my cousins and my F-I-L were. Paternal Grandpa was a US Marine,as was another of my uncles on dad's side. Mom's side was US Army.
