Photos taken at Versailles between 1862 and 1868 (probably taken in 1862 or 1863). Many of these artillerymen were veterans of the Crimean War and/or the Franco-Austrian War (Italian Campaign of 1859).

These are not cuirassiers of the Imperial Guard. They are cuirassiers of the line.
