Its how corporations function. You make money and you get a bonus, you don't make money and the big whigs still get a bonus. Go bankrupt and you get fired but the big whigs still get a bonus and golden parachute.

Interestingly, GW was cited by Edwina Curry (UK politician) as an example of a successful retailer in response to a question on Question Time this week about the serial bankruptcies and closures on the Uk high street.

This may be damning with faint praise.
