Definitely at least three uniforms. Back in 1970 (while in law school) I happily painted hundreds of 25mm in the 1768 Warrant uniforms. A short decade late, I was accepted in the Company of Military Historians and had a very disturbing uniform and tactical awakening! The Howe dress … cut down coats and maybe turned downed tricornes or hats!! So, the next 40 years of painting Howe, based on extended order. My friend Juergen has a good Saratoga army, caps and all.
The Southern Campaign can actually use both Howe and 1768 depending on scenario. |
