Hello all. I am a Gotham City Adventures kickstarter backer. On one of the associated Gotham City Adventures facbook pages, someone had posted a picture of what appeared to be 28-32 mm Bamobiles. There were versions from the Adam West '66 to the tumbler, and between.

It was implied these batmobiles would be found at a line of Drugstores called CVS. They would be located in or near the Kinsmart / Kintoy 1/48 scale vehicles. (A popular choice for modern 28mm tables).

the problem is the post and the pictures have since disappeared. Is anyone aware of cheap 1/48 batmobiles for sale in a CVS or elsewhere?

Thanks!

There is a 1/43 diecast scale line on E-bay, but not cheap.

Search ebay for tomy batmobile. There are a few sets and singles.

But it depends on what you think cheap is.

Www.carmodel.com has some pretty sweet 'mobiles (and it's in Italy so I wouldn't have to worry about customs) but at a glance they are on the big side. I should think the scale for 28-35mm minis should be more @ 1/50-ish than 1/40-ish.

I purchased these at CVS. I included a Heroclix Batman for scale. These were the only two they had and they were on a rack with other cars of similar scale. They sell for $6 USD apiece.

They are made in China by a company called jadatoys, and the bottom lists their scale as 1:32. They are actually a little small for Batmobiles, but they don't look too bad.

The jadatoys website shows a ton of Batmobiles, but they come boxed. The ones at CVS do not.

Hope this helps!

A company called Eaglemoss did one of those magazine + model scams with a large range of batmobiles in 1/43 scale which is about right for the Knight Miniatures figures.

Certainly the Arkham Asylum Batmobile I bought looks great.

(There was an easily removed screw holding it to the base.)

Hmm. Since the 1/32 Jada Toys stuff is that size it probably means that the Jada 1/24 'mobiles are way too small to go with Schleich Batman which is supposedly 1/20. Shame really since 1/18 'mobiles are a bit too dear.

Thanks Piper! You rock. I went by CVS and found several Tumblers, and Adam West mobile, and a michael keaton batmobile. All for 6$ each.

Very happy to help. Picked up the Adam West and Michael Keaton models myself today.

For pure classic, you can't beat the 60's TV show. But I'm partial to both the Michael Keaton version and the one on the right in my picture above for "serious" Batman gaming.

I don't much care for the "tumbler".
