After a couple days of gap-filling the resin squigs and sorting out all the components, I finally assembled everything into the finished model.

Unlike the GW version of the mangler squig unit, I have my squigs side by side as opposed to one on top of the other.

I decided to use the night goblins fanatics set because the chains were straight, which had the look of the goblins being pulled along by something huge and strong – and fast. I cut off the original wrecking balls from the ends of the goblins' chains and then attached the goblins directly to the bodies of the squigs. I purposely suspended them in mid-air to give the impression of the squigs moving at such a great speed that it's lifting the goblins into the air as they desperately hang on!

The other challenge I had was that the night goblin fanatics originally are meant to be standing on the ground while swinging their ball and chains in the air. Their feet were molded with slotta-bars meant for round bases, which I had to cut away without damaging or mangling the feet too much. However once the slotta-bars were cut away, the remaining models looked exactly like goblins that were being lifted off the ground while holding on to their pieces of rope and chain!

I got a generic metal chain from Walmart which I tried to match as closely as possible to the size of the chain links the fanatics are holding.

Overall I think it came out pretty well, I think it gives the sense of a psychotic pair of squigs speeding along with their goblin crew desperately hanging on for dear life!

Very cool looking.

I'm leaning towards having destruction be the big focus of the AoS League/Campaign I'm running this summer. Those guys would fit right in.
