Since that time is drawing close, who is looking or selling interesting things?

I for one am always on the lookout for 28mm WW2, 28MM cowboys/ west for West shootouts, 28mm F&I war, any type of 28mm compatable terrain, and stuff for Saga.

Also looking for gangs of Rome items as I have just been introduced to the game.

Winston Smith30 May 2018 10:53 a.m. PST

I have to sign up soon, but I will be selling painted 25mm AWI figures.

I will also have a lot of old Avalon Hill etc board games and some other last minute throw ins.

Daribuck Supporting Member of TMP30 May 2018 12:00 p.m. PST

I just signed up for all five sessions! Normally, I am a vendor, but since the vendor hall is SOLD OUT, I have to sell as a flea market guy. Of course, I am not allowed to sell anything "new" because then I would have to do that in the vendor hall…. did I mention that is sold out?

I'll be selling a lot of boardgames, magazines and books related to Military History, plus almost EVERYTHING I have > 15mm. It just takes up TOO much space!

And for every large volume item I sell (i.e. 20mm and up) I will allow myself to buy a small volume item, especially 6mm and smaller!

Viper91130 May 2018 12:13 p.m. PST

Of course, I am not allowed to sell anything "new"
That doesn't stop lots of people in the flea market, why should it stop you? Of course you may not want to get rid of new stock at flea market prices either.

That said, I'll be on the lookout for 28mm historical and fantasy figures I can use for Lion/Dragon Rampant.

pzivh43 Supporting Member of TMP30 May 2018 2:29 p.m. PST

I'm on lookout for 28mm modern or near future stuff, zombie apocalypse terrain/buildings, etc. Also 20mm WW2 figs, vehicles, and terrain.

I plan to sell some stuff on Sunday morning; some 20mm WW2 unpainted, some painted WW2, and a bunch of various stuff that has lingered in my basement for too long.

Mike

cepammi30 May 2018 3:41 p.m. PST

Dervel Fezian31 May 2018 6:05 a.m. PST

Daribuck Supporting Member of TMP31 May 2018 7:29 a.m. PST

Rotundo, I am probably keeping my 15 stuff… Notice my post said > 15, ie Greater than!

Cheers!

Daniel

Rotundo31 May 2018 8:26 a.m. PST

Oh, sorry…sometimes I get excited. I did just what you are attempting about a year ago. Very freeing. Many mis-fires sold off and scale hopping stopped and sold off. I now only game in 15mm.

TSD10131 May 2018 12:45 p.m. PST

I am bringing some beautifully painted 28mm Samurai.

I am very interested. Do you have any Ashigaru? Are they individuals, based for units, etc.?

Do you have any specific clan paint schemes and markings like Takeda or Uesugi?

Dervel Fezian31 May 2018 1:59 p.m. PST

Most are Ashigaru foot with Yari, hand guns and Bow… Takeda markings. Based in ones and twos.

Some Samurai, mounted and foot.

112 Foot
34 mounted

Ironwolf31 May 2018 7:15 p.m. PST

I'll be looking for painted 10mm ACW. or Painted 15mm AWI.

TSD10131 May 2018 7:26 p.m. PST

Most are Ashigaru foot with Yari, hand guns and Bow… Takeda markings. Based in ones and twos.

What day will you be in the Flea Market? I am running skirmish game Friday evening starting at 6 PM using Osprey's Ronin rules. It's Kawanakajima, so if your Takeda are better painted than mine (a high possibility) I may purchase some and use them in place of mine. What price are you looking at?

rmcaras Supporting Member of TMP01 Jun 2018 6:38 p.m. PST

but here is a related question to what….

Will it be in the same poorly suited location?

If so, will access be better communicated/marked and will ambient lighting be improved?

TSD10101 Jun 2018 9:16 p.m. PST

Will it be in the same poorly suited location?

I sure hope not.

Ploogak02 Jun 2018 12:08 a.m. PST

Sorry guys, Wally's will still be in the showroom. We're working with the Host right now on lighting improvements.

Joby

Rangers Lead the Way02 Jun 2018 3:31 a.m. PST

Don't be sorry Joby better lighting and a ramp for easy access to bring in sale items and it will work fine. Also the air con needs to be tested prior to July.

I just got my registration in today and signed up for Saturday morning in Walley's Basement. I am in the process of moving so all of my minis are boxed up at the moment. However, as is always the case with a move I take a hard look at things and see lots of stuff I will unpack after I get settled in and will be taking to sell at H-con and the flea market. I will post a more detailed list later on this or another thread, but based on what I packed up here is a rough/approximate list of what I am bringing:

15 mm WW II Late War ETO Americans and 8th Army and DAK North Africa and lots of it, along with a nice Flames of War carrying case and terrain. Many of the models are painted but there will be a bunch of box sets and blisters as well. I will also have the old FOW Desert fort along with the extra damaged section to put on the table.

My entire collection of 28 mm Foundry Plains War figures. Most of these are still in the blisters but there is a segment of painted figures as well. Added to this are the LOTOW rule books.

Dream Forge Eisenkern figures including vehicle models. Some of the trooper are painted or in various stages of being painted.

Lots of old GW Bretonnian minis both plastic and metal.

What is left of my painted GW Dogs of War figures as well as some unpainted or primed stuff.

My son will have some old painted 40K Blood Angels to sell.

And I will have lots of loose fantasy models that I need to sort through and bag up and price.

I will also have a variety of rule books and such.

Like I stated, I will inventory all of this and more after I move and get settled. I am at that stage in life where I realize I cannot do it all and I need/want to focus on specific things in the hobby and let someone else have a go at things that will most likely never see me paint them or run a game with them. Some of this I have run a lot of games with and I have gotten my time and money's worth out of them. Regardless, it is time to clear out a lot of stuff and move on.

altfritz03 Jun 2018 5:49 p.m. PST

Which room is the "Showroom"?

Rotundo04 Jun 2018 2:32 a.m. PST

Kallman, lets talk FOW. I would be interested in the DAK and 8th.

Dervel Fezian04 Jun 2018 6:17 a.m. PST

The showroom or ballroom is the one above the Lampeter with the stage and stepped floor. Used to be used for FOW and other tournaments I think in the past. It was closed due to roof issues for the past few years.

rampantlion04 Jun 2018 6:31 a.m. PST

Viper911 will you have any Foundry ECW with you?

Thanks

Mirosav04 Jun 2018 12:04 p.m. PST

Looking for 6mm ECW.

kallman04 Jun 2018 3:02 p.m. PST

Rotundo, sure thing. As I stated after the move (which is this coming weekend) and I get re-settled, I am going to pull everything out and inventory what I have, bag it, label it, and price it for the flea market. So it might be the end of June before I have this worked out. Regardless, I will let you know or just bug me from time to time. I can be reached at kimj.allman@outlook.com.

MadBob05 Jun 2018 8:06 a.m. PST

Kallman, email sent re; Bretonnian models

vonLoudon10 Jun 2018 3:49 p.m. PST

How about feedback on the location of the flea market and if it's too dark, inaccessible or whatever. I decided not to go mainly because of the location and the alleged darkness.

capncarp16 Jun 2018 10:43 p.m. PST

Allegedly there is a freight elevator for the showroom, which would make sense, as well as allow for handicap access.

kallman18 Jun 2018 5:39 p.m. PST

Well I am moved and just about have everything unpacked and starting the inventory of what I culling from my miniature collection. I will have a comprehensive list soon and perhaps some photos to boot.

DaleWill Supporting Member of TMP24 Jun 2018 9:55 a.m. PST

Looking for 6mm H&R Napoleonics. Maybe some 28mm WW2 US, some 6 or 10mm ECW.

Okay, it has taken a bit with moving and unpacking and then sorting through stuff but here is a rough list of what I am bringing and a few photos of certain items.

Rotundo you have first dibs on the DAK and 8th Army FOW stuff. I've had a few others inquire so let me know soon. I also had someone interested in the Bretonnian stuff but have not heard back from them.

So here is the list so far, I have NOT placed prices as of yet.

Large lot of OOP Bretonnian models, it includes:

All of this is mostly the original Bretonnians sculpted by the Perrys.
20 old metal knights about half are the original Questing knights sculpted by the Perry's.

9 Perry sculpted metal Knights Errant, two mounted sorceress and the original Morganna model, all metal

Approximately 20 or so Perry sculpted metal mounted squires,

19 of the original plastic knights of the realm

4 plastic Pegasus knights

The original metal Hero on Pegasus which is damn hard to find now.

Plus there are tons of plastic horses, shields (even some metal shields with the grail on them) bases, decals, and lots of extra bits and bobs.

A close up of some of the metal knights:

Is anyone interested in basically plastic built kits for Railroads..? They are all from a German manufacturer and for H/O or TT I believe. I got them for 15mm scenery… they are in nice shape.

PM me if you want to see pics.

Grumble8710605 Jul 2018 8:38 a.m. PST

I'm looking for one sprue of Valiant Set VM003 – American GIs 1942/44 to purchase for a friend who can't make it to Lancaster. They're hard plastic figures, supposedly 1/72 scale but really more like 25 mm size.

A whole box of four sprues is $16 USD, and he's willing to pay that in the Dealers Area as a last resort. But it would be nice if someone is willing to part with one sprue for a reasonable price. He needs to fill out his platoon with some riflemen and a BAR.

Anyone help out?

Here is a link to a Google Photo album that shows what I've documented so far as to the items available at the Flea Market on Saturday.

Please note, if no one expresses interest in the Courier magazine & MWAN [complete sets] I will NOT be bringing them. They are heavy and in totes.

Also not listed yet are painted Napoleonics and Union ACW. Napoleonics = mostly French infantry and cavalry. SOme British heavy cavalry. Prices on painted Napoleonics are $1 USD/foot and $2 USD/cavalry.

well it doesn't paste in as a clickable link – foiled by technology again, BUT if you select the line the pop-up windows has an option to take you to the URL. That appears to work.

Please advise if interested in any of this. We do not have to wait for the Saturday morning FM to conduct a transaction. AND if its before the FM, I will take PayPal.
