I am considering doing an Egyptian/Ancient scenario for Frostgrave and I am looking for some figures to represent some of the hero types. I have Midlams new Servants of the Undead Pharoh pack (which is great) but I could do with some thieves, fighters etc. to round them out.

Any ideas?

You might well find something useful in Crocodile Games' "Aegyptus" range. Look in the Asar subcategory for human types: link . Of course, if you want retainers with hawk, crocodile or cat heads then you'll find those too…

There's also Dark Fable

Daithi the Black29 May 2018 8:37 a.m. PST

And Reaper: link

Some of which are surprisingly affordable

I second Dark Fable! Numbers 40, 41 and 62.

You MUST get Crocodile Games' figures. Pharaoh commands it!

I do plan on getting Dark Fable's tomb raiders and adventurers (what Daithi mentioned) as well.

Coyotepunk has worked out some "Sandgrave" variant rules for exactly this sort of setting and I'm working towards having stuff ready to play.

For the human troops your best bet are historicals. Black Tree E-Orbis has a nice range including the bald archers. Old Glory has a range that will be shorter though much cheaper per mini.

Though since you're doing fantasy Egypt, if anyone asks why your mummies are so much bigger than your human troops just say the older dynasties were more godly or titanic or something.

Crazyivanaov I am likely using Foundry for my Rank and File (the BTD prices are high for this range) I just need to round those out with characters

BTD just did a permanent price reduction, were you aware? Dark Fable has your heroes and your villains, and your flunkies and hangers on! And Forge of Ice has your "Sleepy Sentries"…

Does anyone sell Wargods in the UK? I have the same Egyptian itch to scratch!
Links I've found to suppliers are dead or out of date.
