What's a great fantasy army that most wargamers seem to forget about? |

Flying Monkeys have too few troop types. I would love a range of Wizard of OZ armies. |

A lot to choose from depending on the genre' … LotR, WHFB, etc., etc. At first look … Slann or Lizardmen ?

"I would love a range of Wizard of OZ armies." I agree with this 100%. |

Gnomes. They literally get "overlooked" -- both pun, and serious. ;-) I built a Gnome Army of around 50 figures, back around 2000; even found a chariot pulled by a Giant Mole (I think). Had to order them from Essex, in the UK (I live in the USA), as they were one of the few sources I could find. Also discovered that 25-28mm figures of Gnomes (shorter than Dwarves), are few, with limited variety. Essex still carries this product line. Fighting the urge to buy more. Cheers! |

Morokanth. And even when miniatures are made, they are always bipedal, which takes aeay what makes morokanth so unusual. |

You got me, I'll jump on the "slann" bandwagon. Though Diehard's take on them is awesome. |

"Chaos Fairy Princess Unicorns" If you weren't joking go to SLAP miniatures, they have what you want. I was there looking at their vulture-lions for post-apoc gaming, sadly they are out of stock. I'll go with flying monkeys as well, preferably ones that could also be used for post-apoc gaming.:) |

Ultimate overlooked fantasy armies are German WWII without Tigers or Napoleonic French without Imperial Guard. |

The Beastman or evolved animals from the Slintered Light ranges are overlooked. I have always seen vast potential in those lists when I was working on them. |

"The Horror … the horror … " You mean Natasha Kinski? She scared the Hell out of me in the Cat People movie! Splintered LightYes! (not the beastmen, but …) Meeses! Mouse Warriors! Vermin, but cute little vermin! I once took out a battalion of dark elves and their dragon with a company of Redwall warriors! |
