What is the worst zombie movie ever made? |

So many choices… I think my vote might go for "Last of the Living": imdb.com/title/tt1351177 . It feels like an undergraduate project from some minor film & media school. I'm pretty tolerant of this kind of stuff; I like to finish a movie that I've started to watch (you never know, it might get better). But this was so bad that I came very close to abandoning it part-way. Hugh |

Your going to have to qualify this in some way, Zombie movies that were big budget only, cheapo zombie movies too, voodoo zombie too, etc… |

As an example, it would take work to top "The Incredible mixed up creatures that stopped living and became zombies" Hard to really classify that as a Zombie movie though. Then there was one that started TV's Batman I can't remember the name of, it was horrible but funny after MST3K got hold of it. |

I've not seen it but a friend claims "Battle of the Bone" is bad to the point of being unwatchable. The trailer suggests this is true. The problem is zombie movies are so popular that many amateurs have had a go at making one, so that the bar is set incredibly low. You can make a zombie movie with your friends and no money, but you can't do that so easily with a war or scifi movie. In terms of "proper" movies I hated the remake of "Day of the Dead" – remember the vegetarian zombie? But I am sure there are worse, because I pretty much gave up on the genre after that. |

The Adam West movie is "Zombie Nightmare" and the MST3K version is a real hoot. |

"Zombie Death House", John Saxon's directorial debut. What a POS. |

Plan Nine From Outer Space. Arguably the worst movie of all time. And with zombies. |

I'm a bit of a 70's and 80's zombie movie fanatic. These are the worst I've seen: Oasis of the Zombies Hell of the Living Dead Nightmare City Erotic Nights of the Living Dead (Yes, this is a real movie. Avoid at all costs!) Return of the Living Dead 2 |

Can any one name a "Good" zombie movie? I could give some credit to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as being clever. Well, the concept, anyway. Revolt of the Zombies is the first zombie movie I ever saw, interesting by using zombies in World War 1. |

The Asylum movies rip off version of Abe Lincoln vs Zombies. Can't remember the actual name…don't really want to. The only good part was when Abe told a young Teddy Roosevelt, "Now walk softly. And here, carry this big stick" |

There was one in the 80's (can't remember the title atm) where the zombies couldn't be killed (even if burned to smoke & ashes.) There were apparently sequels to it, but I won't bother to see them based on that premise… |

What was that big budget about 2012ish where zombies swarmed everywhere? |

Never seen it, but just the title: "Abe Lincoln vs. Zombies" Was enough to keep me from watching it. (tempted) 'What on earth?" But just couldn't go there. Night of the Living Dead (Romero) was pretty cool premise, IIRC was due to a radioactive satellite crashing back to earth? |

I just watched Attack of the Killer Donuts.. Do zombie killer donuts fall into the category of zombie movies? Best part was when they threw the donuts at the characters in the movie to show they were being attacked. They left an opener for a sequel. You've been warned |

Despite its accolades, Plan Nine From Outer Space is definitely not the worst movie of all time. You can easily watch the movie all the way through from beginning to end. And even watch it again sometime. There are many movies where that is not so easily accomplished. It's not even the worst Ed Wood film. I would say that Romero has the best: Night of the Living Dead (1968) And the worst, my poll nominee: * Survival of the Dead (2005) |

Not the worst, but one of the funniest,is a series of web shorts called "Brain Eating Zombie Babies" with a little puppet named "Daisy"(the title character) and "Mom" played by Canadian actress Alyson Court. |

I saw this thread earlier today and later sat down to lunch and turned on TV. Flipping thru channels, I found a documentary on Leonard Nimoy. I was surprised to see "Zombies Of The Stratosphere" listed as one of his earlier film credits. imdb.com/title/tt0045352 It doesn't sound like an actual zombie flick but rather a Martians v Earthlings battle. |
