Here is a photo. The pill box is a UK 1/144 scale Type 24 Rifle-proof pill box represented as being buried 2 ft below ground level.

If you are woundering why so specific. The distance between the top and the firing ports is dictated by the roof thickness, in this case 1 ft 9 ins (21"). This would be more like 40" if it was artillery proof. The hight to the top of the fireing ports is dependent on how far it is buried inb the ground. Thus it is a compromise at 2 ft, some were more or less unburied and some deeper. In many cases they did not have vegitation on them at all. However one picture of an exsisting one shows grass on the top only. Its hard to imagine somebody put it on there recently. In many cases at least on Type 42 (not seen evidence on Type 24) they were just painted.

It should be noted that this is Visrep only, I kept the walls to the minimum practical and ommitted the internal blast walls to allow some sort of marker to be placed inside for gameing purposes.
