The next of my Western Desert battles has begun with the progress being posted on my blog. This is a prelude to Operation Compass with a Jock column aggressively patrolling an area near to Italian camps. A clash occurs in the Ebna Gap. Part 1 covers the battlefield and the initial moves prior to contact. BKC2 rules used with 6mm figures.

I always loved Operation Compass, I wonder how the desert war would have progressed if the commander General O'Connor, hadn't been captured when the DAK arrived…
