@ 18CTEXAN, drop me an email to christian dot ka dot rogge at web dot de & I'll send it. Concerning "my book" – well, I wouldn't call it a book, really. Its a collection of orbats and Army lists for the SYW French & Allies. The entire work is rather meant to be an extention to the appendix of the Savory book. That's all it is. It maybe usefull to you as I gathered a lot of material from the Paris Archives and German source, at times not available in English publications or never published at all. I learned a lot on the French Army during my research then. Interesting to you may also be the tables with the ranking of the French generals. Makes it easier to understand their placing in the order of battle. It stands pretty well to the present day, though, my French Hastenbeck orbat should see a minor revision on part of the cavalry. I have stopped editing with the beginning of the 1760 campaign. Never managed to complete it. Cheers, Christian crogges7ywarmies.blogspot.com |
