How many films, shows or novels have you come across with that specific theme (a mechanical Alien prop/Robot made in order to deceive locals)? 1) What sort of creature was it? What did it look like? 2) Did the ploy work? What could have made it successful? 3) Most importantly … would that premise make a worthwhile game setting? Bonus Question: What was the name of a Disney 60s(?) film with young kids making a fake fire breathing (Alien?) creature that floated on top of a barge or raft, to scare the locals off from visiting a lake?
