I own a hard copy and while it is useful you have to do a lot of conversion to make it work for your set of rules.

An alternative that will require less conversion work (as it was designed to work with nearly any Napoleonic miniatures system, time is listed in time not turns, maps are in scale miles, not table feet, and orders of battle are down to the battalion level, with a handy conversion table on our website for the recommended combat ratings):

To Assure My Dynasty, 1808 in Iberia

Covers from the Spanish Uprising through the Battle of Coruña and provides uniform images for the overwhelming majority of units involved in the scenarios.

Good idea providing the conversion table, but under Napoleon's Battles it says that "Napoleon's Battles does not utilize any form of command or control ratings for Commanders and so these are ignored when translating from ESR."

In fact, generals in Napoleon's Battles have two ratings specifically for command and control, although the quality attribute that is mentioned is also involved, mostly in crises. For command and control NB's uses a range rating, 3"-5" for division commanders, and varying by individual as you go up the hierarchy. Subordinate units/commanders within that range are in command. In addition to this, each commander has a response number (between 4 and 8), which is used when out of range of superiors.

holdit – Fair point. We'll look back at more properly mapping those attributes. Thanks for pointing it out!

@TWC – can your campaign books be used for any scale or only the scale of your army packs (10mm) – the books look quite good but I am looking to use 18mm scale troops.

Our Campaign Guides can be used with nearly any rule system and any scale of figures.

We provide orders of battle to the battalion level. Maps are in scale miles, and time is in time.

Obviously some historical battles cover huge geographic areas and therefore are easier with larger ground scales and smaller figures, but that comes down to the specific engagement and not how the scenarios are presented in our Campaign Guides. Also, as a help to this is the fact that all our maps are marked in scale miles, thus, you can easily divided battlefields up and run smaller portions of them should you choose.

TWC – how much is postage to the UK normally?

The Wargaming Company28 May 2018 10:55 a.m. PST

We'll do you one better: Magister Militum in the UK has them in-stock.

Alternatively, you can order them from us as select, "Fulfillment by Magister Militum" as your shipping option.
