I've recently finished a commission for some Napoleonic Busts, check out more on the blog: link On a few busts and chess pieces I was asked to paint just the face, but doing a full paint job on Uxbridge. Thanks!

Well I just loved the officer of Guards. I managed to work out 2nd Coldstream (button spacing). Winged epaulettes and a bugle above the shako plate (how well done is that by the way? I am trying to do that in 28mm..weep). So Light Company. But the best bit. (Unless you have just not yet painted it) He has a black plume on his "shako"/Belgic cap (love the edging you added). He is a surgeon (pre the modern version of the NHS, lucky blighter!) yelling at someone (but not what calls itself "management"). Naw, looking back again, it is very, very, dark green after all. I forgot to take off my sunglasses! Great work though |

Thanks for all the comments guys. Deadhead, great comments as always. I'm really glad you like the Officer of the Guards. I didn't know all those details, thanks for sharing them! |

I actually am indebted to you, because, after much research I have also done the cap plate, with the silver centre, and then the Order of the Garter within that. I even remembered to do it on the epaulettes. But looking at your picture again reminded me, the plate on the chest crossbelt! I had completely forgotten |
