Simple, easy to use, Generate smallish armies, maps, objectives. PC plays against you and then you transfer conflicts to table top.

Does it exist or am I dreaming?

Several of us have been looking for the same thing. A few are in the process of being made, but none have hit the market as of yet. Or that I know of.

Oh… You would've thought they'd already have that.

I'm pretty sure the guy who makes the Carnage and Glory computer moderated rules is working on a computer moderated campaign system. AFAIK it's not out yet. I think his name is Nigel Marsh. Google should find it/him

Anyone try this out?

@MajorMike, I'll check our Berthier, thanks.

@Puddinhead Johnson, I looked at that but it's not out…plus, to be picky, there is no AI.

Nothing complicated, just wanted "red team", "blue team" stuff on a basic map where you could assign victory points for objectives like seizing the Von Snausages munitions factory.

Berthier – wonderful though it is for its purpose – really only manages the map and fog of war.

The OP was wanting AI to campaign against; and VP accounting. Berthier has the "Army Plan" facility, but that's not interactive or responsive AI.

Not sure that this will be the answer.

MiniPigs,
I'm just looking for a campaign system that multiple players can enter in the units they command. Then each player can maneuver their commands around on a map. With the system handling fog of war, fatigue and ect. Then once the two sides come into contact on the map. Us players be able to set up the battle on a table top to play out.

Has anyone ever actually used the Berthier campaign software? And if so, could they elucidate about how it works?

For Skirmish gaming Platoon Forward generates Maps, Objectives and the OPFOR. There is no AI involved though.

The crazy thing is I think this existed for Amiga all those years ago. Certainly it was a campaign program that allowed transfer of troops to and from table also a quick results button. But I'm sure it had an AI too.
