"So, so far the casual observer of our Apocalypse: Earth battle reports might have thought that it was all just about the Atlantic Alliance vs the evil Holy Soviet Empire.. but that's a long way from the truth. As anyone (both of you) who has read our fluff will know, the fateful Soviet invasion of February 1954 crashed across the German border with devastating force, catching the League Of European Nations not quite with their pant down, but certainly at half mast! With Germany winning a Pyrrhic victory in the Great War at the Battle Of Paris in November 1914, and the League of European Nations being set up in the wake up the military coup that toppled the Kaiser two months later, it was German patterned equipment, doctrine and armaments that formed the backbone of LoEN armed forces in the early years of the war.." link

Thanks Legion! Starting to realise the trick to these little fellas (more so than the big chunky GW guys)is to start bright and wash down, and be sure to be VERY light on the drybrushing. Not completely satisfied yet, but they're getting there! |

Thanks SouthernPhantom! Wanted to do something a little bit different – and I have to confess, I was more than a little inspired by the Command & Conquer "Red Alert" series, but without the campy time travel elements! |
