I'm aware of those by Redoubt, Old Glory, and AW Miniatures. From the photos, the Redoubt ones look best to me. Anyone have any opinions or know of any other sources? ~ Ax |

I have several of the Redoubt ones and like them very much. Have not seen the others to compare. I also have some of the laser-cut plywood ones from Laser Dream Works. Not quite so ribs and leather-hide looking construction, but very nice large war canoes for conveying bigger groups of figures on the tabletop. |

Rafm made some very nice ones back in the day. I don't know if they are still available |

RAFM canoes are small, more true 25mm but very nice. |

Conquest Miniatures are really nice. I think you can still get them via Warlord. |

I really like my Old Glory canoes, both small, and large. they work quite well for everything I need, at a great price. |

Old Glory was giving away canoe packs with the purchase of the Warlord Indians when they first were released. I got them and am very happy with them. I have Redoubt and a few others, also. Variety is good. |

"Variety is good." Of course. They didn't have a set of blueprints for "Nescopeck Class CN" canoes. |

I do think the Regs for Indian canoes were-- "not to be shorter then 5 feet and not to exceed 10 feet in length . No wider then 3 feet. No less then one life jacket per each 2 foot lenghth per canoe. One -OSHA approved first aid kit per canoe. Each canoe must have red reflectors clealy visible on the front and back of both port and starboard side. Each Canoe must have a certified canoeist on board at all times". Regards Russ Dunaway |
