We think so! – we had 3 more games at the club and I think we are getting the hang of it now! – I have done a report on the first 2 games at this link

Enjoy it!

Sounds like fun – curses! Another game I am doomed to buy

We've played it twice now--it is indeed a fun game! Definitely geared for late war tanks, and not tankettes or anti-tank rifles.

If you and your friends have a tank or two each they you're good to go.

It is sort of fun. Kind of little filler.

If we had only this to play at the club it'd be very sad.

WAT is a kind of arcade tank game in a WWII costume. I don't think we will play it for too long.

But yes, give it a go. It is…fun.

Great game, yep a bit simple, but great fun. Repaint, I too would be sad if this were the only game around, but it's not and it is a hoot. Like all games my buddies and I play, we'll play it till we're sick of it and switch to another game.

We are planning an informal East Front campaign. I imagine we may have had enough after that, and it will go away for a while. But it's simple enough to bring out again after several months, and I'm sure we will.

I am always amused by the TFL naming convention of thinly veiled rude phrases!!

I have just done a new points system for WaT, and we will try it next week. If anyone wants a look at it please e-mail me at richardbradley5@gmail.com!

I hope it will make the game balance….fairer!

"I hope it will make the game balance….fairer!"

As always it depends on the terrain. More open terrain favors the Germans, Denser terrain favors the British & Americans.

That is interesting – how do you balance a game where you have one tank a piece? Will be interesting to see how this works.

how do you balance a game where you have one tank apiece?

The points system in the original rules works fine in balancing 1:1 games, where it fails is in multiple tank games, as our games on Saturday showed.
I doubt the terrain affects results over much, as both sides have to acquire, aim and shoot with the same difficulty, and the randomness of the command dice/initiative dice make much more difference, I feel.

I ordered this from a retailer in the UK, waiting for it to ship across the pond. I watched a couple of U-tubes on the game.

Interesting concept, I'll give it a try with my 15mm collection. Leave the 28's for Bolt Action. I may have have to tinker, we'll see?
