These rather squat 25/28mm scale cavalrymen, with no makers marks, are modelled on the illustrations in Osprey 154 "Arthur and the Anglo-Saxon Wars". Can anyone here tell us which firm produced them, or suggest who we could ask? They came to us in a batch of figures which had belonged to a defunct wargames group; the rest of the figures in the batch dated from the late 1980s/early 1990s. I'm not 100% sure, but they might be Corvus Miniatures and no, I don't mean Corvus Belli. The time frame and the style of horses seems right. |

They are (were) Whitecross Games. I think SHQ now have the molds/sell the range. You have there a mixture of Goths and Late Romans |

Nice looking figures. I looked at the SHQ site but alas no pictures. Would these be true 25mm or bigger 28s? |
