I'm am looking at using big scale planes (maybe 1/72 or 1/48) on stands on the floor in a big hall. I want some rules that don't need hexes and where one plane per player is good. Any suggestions? |

Too bad no hexes…or I would have recommended Blue Max…good luck! I use 1:72 planes on old-school Battle Masters printed maps w/hexes. P. |

WWII or WWI? I use mustangs and Messerschmitt for WWII and canvas falcon for WWI these rules work for 1/72 scale and uses stands with wheels where you can play on the floor. |

We used to use our M&M strands for WWI games back in the day. Same mechanics but with appropriate stats for WWI. |

You could convert Canvas Eagles from hexes to inches and degrees of turning? It would take a bit of conversion. |

you might be able to do it with Canvas Eagles if you have the base as a hex, then it makes it easier to calculate the degree of turn? |

Get some blank hexed to use of the movement. Lay them out in the format for the move, move the model, then pick up the hexed. Use a tape to check ranges based on the size of the hex, or again use the blank hexed to form the firing arc. Works on any scale. |
