Sadly the Warmodeling /Fantissin figures are only avaialble in EU, thus making this a much bigger challenge & expense to determine an answer or confirm. I know Extra crispy has a pretty good comparison, at his website. But what I need comparison on is not so instantly addressed. What I am looking for specifically… is from those already have with their collection, that would contain both OG ( 19th century ) and W/F figures…would be a side to side comparison with Austrian Infantry in helmet firing/loading in W/F models to any of the OG Austrian line in helmet. Or a measuring scale up against the W/F model, if only have the one model type in their collection. I would like to add some firing/loading to my existing skirmish lines and need to understand how well or not so well they will mesh. I have been successful with the DoW models to date, easily acquired from Scale Creep, who seems to no longer have W/F in his stock and seems to not be able to continue to stock. Model REF: link Thanks for your support! MG.

MG: Unfortunately this is not an easy question to answer. In terms strictly of height, I think Old Glory and W/F mesh well. But OG tend to have a different sculpting style. So you may think they mesh, or you may not. It's a matter of taste more than anything. As a complete heretic I mix every manufacturer together in my armies, some times even in the same unit. I like the variety and I have *never* had a gamer notice the size variances. I will also note that the W/F are VERY consistent in size as they all had one sculptor. Their earliest and latest sculpts were all a dead on match size wise. Their newer ranges now use different sculptors (28mm ACW, for instance, or 15mm Naval Crew) so that's a different ball of wax. |

I mix some Og in mainly AB+ Campaign + Blue moon. Or some Blue moon with mainly old old glories Just spent hours basing 100s! That is walking line units. Skirmishing is a bit more awkward as AB stands out so big so effectively the W/F ( now stonewalled😜) are the most compatible. I'd say because of their somewhat hunched position the Camapaign games would go with OG. In 2023 you might get BM skirmishing Austrians.😋 wF and old glory did not well mix but I still did somehow. Big stout chaps among smaller ones. |

Thanks EC i will compare tonight when I get back in against a similar photo shoot of my OG. JcFrog- understand and had already done the AB go, which were terribly too large with a more true 15s of OG typical items ( which tend to be slightly > 15mm in size except the Autrians) and were pulled from the OG units to become their own unit of AB. I meshed the DoW with my OG, in my skirmishers and I am happy with how they worked out. Each nationality and mix of OG sculps seem to makes for a different mix/match scenario thus handled each on their own. thanks guys MG |

They look to mesh well with the ABs but are significantly larger at ~2.4mm taller than the OG Austrians ( and like the ABs wereto them). So that plan is a bust! Thanks EC MG |
